About Tina Anselmi-Moulaye, CNM
Tina Anselmi Moulaye is a certified nurse-midwife who studied at Johns Hopkins University to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and at the University of Maryland for a Master’s in Science of Nursing-Midwifery degree in 2004. She has worked as a nurse midwife in El Paso, Texas and Maryland. For seven years she has worked at Greater Baltimore Medical Center as an OB Hospitalist. From 2012 to 2019, she moved overseas with her family to train and educate midwives in Rwanda and Qatar. In Qatar, she was the Clinical Educator in the Birthing Suite where she worked to ensure that all the international midwives practiced at the same level with standardized protocols. She worked with nurses, midwives and physicians from the UK, Australia, Germany, Sweden, New Zealand, Malaysia, South Africa, Jordan, and Lebanon. All these experiences have helped to create her midwifery philosophy that is inclusive and respectful of different cultural needs during pregnancy and throughout a patient’s reproductive life and beyond. She also has 6 years’ experience working as an OB clinical instructor for Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing where she won a DAISY Award for student teaching.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her two sons, reading, watching movies, playing pickleball and taking walks with her dog, Bruno.
