About Mary Gad, DO
Dr. Gad is a dedicated obstetrician-gynecologist and proud Maryland native, committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to women at every stage of life. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Science from the University of Maryland, where her interest in women’s health first took root, before going on to receive her medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia.
As a first-generation Egyptian American who is fluent in Arabic, Dr. Gad is passionate about providing culturally competent care and improving communication and access for diverse patient populations.
Dr. Gad completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Henry Ford Health, where she gained extensive experience managing both routine and high-risk obstetric cases, as well as a broad spectrum of gynecologic conditions.
Her clinical interests include high-risk pregnancy, contraception, menstrual disorders, and robotic surgery. Dr. Gad is dedicated to using evidence-based practices to support optimal patient outcomes, advance women’s health, and improve access to quality care within the community.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Gad enjoys spending time with her husband and their Great Dane, Duke, as well as traveling and exploring local cuisine.
