About Lucie Moravia, DO, MPH, FACOOG, FACOG

Lucie V. Moravia, DO is a board‑certified Maternal–Fetal Medicine specialist dedicated to caring for women with high‑risk pregnancies. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, she completed her undergraduate studies at Clark Atlanta University and earned a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University. Before becoming a physician, Dr. Moravia worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she focused on public health and disease prevention.

Dr. Moravia earned her medical degree from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Robert Wood Johnson–Camden in New Jersey. She went on to complete advanced fellowship training in Maternal–Fetal Medicine at York Hospital in Pennsylvania and has been caring for high‑risk obstetric patients since 2016. Her clinical interests include high blood pressure during pregnancy, preterm labor, fetal growth concerns, pregnancy‑related intensive care, and improving patient safety.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Moravia is passionate about improving maternal health on a global level. She has taught high‑risk obstetrics internationally, helped develop physician training programs, and remains involved in national efforts to improve pregnancy outcomes and patient safety. Outside of work, she enjoys fitness training, watching foreign films, film-making, and spending time with her husband and daughters.
