Lorraine Bowen Raynor, CNM, CRNP

Lorraine Bowen Raynor, CNM, CRNP earned her BSN from The Catholic University of America in 1992 and worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 14 years. In 2006, she went on to complete her Masters in Nurse-Midwifery and Post-Masters Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degrees at the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing. She started and led the nurse-midwifery practice at Hagerstown Capital Women’s Care for 19 years and launched the CenteringPregnancy program there. She joined the Frederick Capital Women’s Care group in 2026. She is passionate about supporting women to discover their own strengths throughout pregnancy and birth and relishes in the joy that permeates a room when a brand new little life enters.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband Scott and goofy German Shepherd Briar, attending live music and sporting events, and is always up for an outdoor adventure.
