About Lauren Capurata, NP
Lauren Capurata is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience caring for women throughout every stage of life. Her background includes private practice, community reproductive health, high-risk labor and delivery, and specialty pelvic pain care. Her clinical expertise spans gynecology, obstetrics, family planning, prenatal and postpartum care, lactation, and the evaluation and treatment of complex pelvic pain.
Lauren earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University and is board certified through the National Certification Corporation. She is also an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
She has a special interest in family planning, breastfeeding medicine, and helping patients with complex pelvic and gynecologic concerns feel heard, supported, and understood. Lauren combines evidence-based medicine with compassionate care, patient education, and shared decision-making to help each patient feel confident in her healthcare choices.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, participating in her children’s school PTA, and expressing her creativity through crafting.
