About Laura A. Burnham, CRNP

Laura graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and continued on as a labor and delivery nurse for six years. Mrs. Burnham then went on to complete her graduate studies at the University of Maryland School of Nursing, with an MSc degree in Women’s Health.

She has practiced as a nurse practitioner in Howard County as well as at Johns Hopkins, over the past 17 years.

Mrs. Burnham’s medical interests include well-woman’s care, contraceptive counseling, adolescent health, colposcopy and obstetric care. She sees patients for routine OBGyn care in Fulton, Maryland, Division 32.

Besides being a nurse practitioner, Mrs. Burnham and her husband are the proud parents of two teenage sons. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, fly fishing, and gardening.
