About Jonathan S. Elias, MD
Dr. Elias is a native Washingtonian. He completed his undergraduate education at The University of Maryland in 1978. In 1982 he received his medical degree from the University of Maryland and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His residency training was at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Elias is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He has been named a “Top Doc” by his peers in Washingtonian Magazine. Dr Elias is married, has four daughters and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.
Dr. Elias is no longer performing deliveries, but has a special interest in recurrent pregnancy loss, infertility, preventive medicine and office gynecology. He also has expertise in the treatment of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), abnormal Pap smears and Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).
