About Hooman Khabiri, MD
Hooman Khabiri, MD, is a board-certified interventional radiologist with extensive experience in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. At Capital Women’s Care, Dr. Khabiri focuses on providing precise, effective treatments while emphasizing patient safety, clear communication, and individualized care. Dr. Khabiri completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at The Ohio State University Medical Center. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine following his internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Throughout his career, Dr. Khabiri has held multiple leadership and academic roles, including Section Chief of Interventional Radiology at The Ohio State University and the Washington DC VA Medical Center, as well as Program Director of the Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program at Ohio State. He has broad clinical experience across vascular and venous interventions, embolization procedures, interventional oncology, and complex image-guided treatments. Dr. Khabiri is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with added qualifications in Interventional Radiology. He welcomes new patients to Capital Women’s Care.
