About Elizabeth Karamanis, APRN
Elizabeth “Kate” Karamanis, FNP-C is a Nurse Practitioner who proudly serves patients at Capital Women’s Care in FairOaks and Manassas, Virginia.
Kate grew up in Northern Virginia. She attended South University, Savannah GA for her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing. She also has a Bachelors of Arts in International Studies and Political Science from George Mason University. She earned these degrees while working full time, and raising two beautiful daughters with her husband. Kate has always had a love for women’s health, so after becoming Nurse Practitioner, she decided to specialize in women’s health and has never looked back!
Kate joined Capital Women’s Care in December 2025. She is passionate and skilled in Gynecology to include family planning, hormonal support, contraception, and various gynecological concerns. In addition, she is passionate and skilled in obstetrics during all stages of pregnancy and postpartum. Peri and post menopause is a speciality of Kate’s. She feels there is a lack of understanding and care for women during this phase, and is eager to help women navigate their journey. Developing strong relationships with patients is her goal, and she does this by spending time listening to her patient’s needs. Kate will help her patients in any phase of life, and is looking forward to relationships she will develop and foster at Capital Women’s Care.
Kate loves spending time with her husband, two beautiful daughters, two dogs and a cat! She loves boating during the summer with family and friends!
