About Elizabeth Cammett, MD

Elizabeth Cammett, MD, joined the Frederick, Maryland Capital Women’s Care practice in 2025. Dr. Cammett earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut and graduated from the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. During her time in medical school, Dr. Cammett cultivated her interests in Women’s Health and particularly in preventative medicine and perinatal care amongst global communities. She graduated with her medical degree with high distinction in Global Public and Community Health. After medical school, she completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at WellSpan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania.

In clinical practice, Dr. Cammett emphasizes comprehensive and compassionate care for patients at each stage of their lives. Her professional interests include contraception counseling and preventative medicine, complex perinatal care, minimally invasive surgery and the menopausal transition. Outside of work she enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her dog and cat, hiking, and playing board games.
