About Danielle M. Austin, MD
Danielle Austin, MD, FACOG joined the team at Care Center 45 in 2021. Dr. Austin received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut. After graduation, she worked at a biotechnology firm conducting research on a noninvasive test for Down syndrome before attending medical school. Dr. Austin graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2013 and then completed her residency training at Lehigh Valley Health Network in 2017.
After moving to Northern Virginia, Dr. Austin was the chair of the obstetrics and gynecology department at Reston Hospital. She has a special interest in obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including her experience with operating the da Vinci Robotic System. Dr. Austin sees patients for routine ObGyn care in Fairfax, Manassas, and Haymarket Virginia.
Dr. Austin was born and raised in Connecticut. She moved to Northern Virginia to escape the cold winters and be closer to family. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, daughter and son. Dr. Austin also enjoys running both full and half marathons, playing tennis, and reading.
