About Camilla Hersch, MD, FACOG
Dr. Hersh has extensive experience ranging from routine care to advanced surgical procedures and has delivered over 4,000 babies. She was among the first physicians in the area to offer DaVinci robotically assisted surgery and is dedicated to providing minimally invasive treatment options for conditions such as abnormal bleeding, fibroids, pelvic pain, and pelvic organ prolapse. She prioritizes open communication and individualized patient care. She has been recognized annually since 2002 by Washingtonian Magazine as one of the Top Doctors. Dr. Hersh speaks conversational French. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and her medical degree from the University of Michigan. She completed her internship and OB/GYN residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Hersh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the National Board of Medical Examiners, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgetown University Medical School. She has been in private practice since 1984 and founded Virginia Women’s Health in 1992. She is married with three children.
