About Ayan Ali, MD
Dr. Ayan Ali is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist who is honored to care for women through every stage of life, from routine gynecologic care to pregnancy and beyond. Dr. Ali was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a minor in Spanish, from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and completed her medical education at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She then completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital, where she served as Chief Academic Resident during her fourth and final year.
Dr. Ali is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based care. Her clinical interests include comprehensive obstetric care, minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgery, abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, and advancing health equity. Dr. Ali is committed to clear communication and collaborative decision- making, ensuring that each patient feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout their care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ali enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking and baking, and spending time outdoors.
