About Astrid Ruth von Walter, MD, FACOG
Dr. von Walter earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. She then completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at The George Washington University Hospital. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has been published in leading medical journals, including Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine and is passionate about helping patients implement evidence-based lifestyle changes for long-term health. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (including Da Vinci® robotic procedures), hysteroscopy, and the management of routine and complex gynecologic conditions. She is fluent in Spanish and values connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, participating in her church community, being active outdoors, and playing musical instruments.
