About Areisa Peters, MD
Dr. Peters is board eligible obstetrician and gynecologist who is passionate about providing personalized, patient-centered care from menarche to the peri/postmenopausal period. Dr. Peters takes pride in building strong relationships with patients, providing trauma-informed care, and empowering patients with the knowledge to make informed health decisions.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Oakwood University and earned her Master of Public Health in Women’s and Reproductive Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Florida, serving as the chief administrative resident (2024-2025).
Dr. Peters believes in providing comprehensive, compassionate care to women throughout every stage of life, recognizing the unique physical, emotional, and social factors that shape their health. She believes that her evidence based, trauma-informed care can create a safe, respectful environment where patients feel heard and empowered.
Outside of work, Dr. Peters enjoys hiking, gardening, creating content, spending time with her fiancé and dog, Michael.
