About Ajibola Olagunju, CNM
Ajibola Olagunju, APRN, CNM, is a dedicated advocate for women’s health, driven by her own empowering birthing experience and a desire to impact other women’s lives positively. Her journey into midwifery care began with a passion for providing compassionate care to women.
Ajibola’s nursing career started with the completion of her associate/diploma degree in nursing at the College of Nursing Eleyele in 2008, where she obtained her license as a Registered Nurse. She furthered her education by earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Igbinedion University in 2013. Her commitment to advancing her knowledge and skills led her to Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky, where she received her master’s degree in nursing in 2024, specializing in midwifery, and also completed her midwifery clinical rotation at the University of Maryland St Joseph Medical Center, where she accumulated over 700 clinical hours, and attended 41 births.
With over 15 years of nursing experience, Ajibola has honed her expertise in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care.
Ajibola is an active member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, where she continues to stay updated on the latest advancements in midwifery care and best practices.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ajibola finds joy in her interests, including cooking, researching, and spending quality time with her family. She is happily married and the proud mother of two children.
With her unwavering commitment to women’s health and compassionate approach to care, Ajibola Olagunju continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and families within her community.
