Dr. Adebusola Awosanya is a Nigerian-American Obstetrician and Gynecologist who grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland. She earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and went on to complete her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine. She later completed her residency training at Howard University Hospital, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
She is particularly passionate about advancing women’s health in underserved communities. Dr. Awosanya provides compassionate, patient-centered care and believes in empowering women to make informed decisions about their health. Her clinical interests include general obstetrics, contraception counseling, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and the management of fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, and other common gynecologic conditions.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Awosanya enjoys staying active with Solidcore, cooking, exploring new brunch spots, and spending quality time with her friends and family. She strives to ensure that every patient receives high-quality care tailored to their individual needs and delights in serving as a trusted partner throughout each patient’s healthcare journey.
