Bio:
Dr. Danielle Austin received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut. After graduation, she worked at a biotechnology firm conducting research on a noninvasive test for Down Syndrome before attending medical school. Dr. Austin graduated from the University of
Connecticut School of Medicine and then underwent her residency training at Lehigh Valley Health Network. After moving to Northern Virginia, Dr. Austin has been the chair of the obstetrics and gynecology department at Reston Hospital for the past year. She is interested in obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including her experience with operating the Da Vinci Robotic System.
Dr. Austin was born and raised in Connecticut. She moved to Northern Virginia to escape the cold winters and be closer to family. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, running both full and half marathons, playing tennis, and reading
