About Asha R. Barrett, MD
Dr. Barrett joined Capital Women’s Care in 2021. She graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012, and received her Medical Degree from Texas A&M University in 2017 where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Barrett completed her residency at the University of Texas at Houston in 2021 where she gained experience with high risk obstetrics, and both laparoscopic and robotic minimally invasive gynecology surgery.
A native Texan, she recently relocated to the DMV area with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, cooking, and lounging with her two cats.
