Dr. Risam has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology for over 30 years at current location in Bowie and Greenbelt, Maryland and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology with The George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Risam graduated from Lady Harding Medical School in India and went on to complete her training in the United Kingdom where she was in private practice for several years and remains a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. Dr. Risam is Board Certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her Special interest include preventive care for women of all ages, teaching and mentoring junior physicians. Dr. Risam is married and has two children.
