Dr. Khoury is a compassionate physician dedicated to offering minimally invasive treatments to all women for all gynecologic conditions. After his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Khoury had advanced training in Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgical Techniques through the exclusive Johnson and Johnson/Ethicon EndoSurgery (EES) fellowship program.  In 2013, he was designated as a COEMIG (Center Of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology) certified minimally invasive surgeon. Dr. Khoury has been recognized for excellence in surgery, as a recipient of multiple awards for “Overall Excellence and Demonstrating the Highest Level of Technical Proficiency in Surgical Obstetrics and Gynecology”.  Since February 2015, Dr. Khoury holds the position of “President of the Medical Executive Committee” at the Maryland Surgery Center for Women.

 

Dr. Khoury earned his Undergraduate and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Saint Joseph University. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The George Washington University, where he currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor. In January 2015, Dr. Khoury was voted to be the Chairman of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Holy Cross Hospital and still holds that position, in addition to being a member of the Medical Executive Committee.

 

Dr. Khoury is actively involved in medical teaching and has received numerous awards for medical students and residents education, including the “Award of the Best Teaching Educator at Holy Cross Hospital”. He is fluent in English, French, Arabic and medical Spanish. He enjoys skiing, playing tennis, and spending time with his wife Mira and their two children.
