The CWC Fibroid Center is a specialized division of Capital Women’s Care dedicated to providing comprehensive, advanced care for patients with uterine fibroids and pelvic pain conditions. This first of its kind national partnership brings state of the art outpatient embolization procedures directly into the OB/GYN clinic setting, allowing patients to receive specialized fibroid care within the practice they already know and trust.
By integrating outpatient Interventional Radiology into the OB/GYN office, the CWC Fibroid Center offers true continuity of care. Patients benefit from access to the full range of fibroid treatment options in one caring, comfortable, and focused environment guided by a collaborative team committed to individualized care and long term wellness.
The CWC Fibroid Center treats conditions such as uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, and pelvic pain related to pelvic congestion syndrome using minimally invasive embolization techniques. Services include uterine fibroid embolization for fibroids and adenomyosis and ovarian vein embolization for pelvic congestion syndrome, providing effective alternatives to surgical treatments with shorter recovery times and a patient centered approach.
