  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Memory or concentration problems

  • Weight gain

Living with Menopause

While every woman’s body will react differently to menopause, we can provide some suggestions for overall lifestyle and health:

  • Eat a well-balanced diet rich in low-fat, low-cholesterol foods
  • Take the recommended daily allowance of calcium to help prevent osteoporosis
  • Exercise regularly with weight-bearing exercise as part of your routine
  • Have regular check-ups with your primary care and gynecologic providers

Some women require hormone therapy to relieve their menopausal symptoms. It’s important to discuss symptoms with your Capital Women’s Care provider, who can create a treatment plan to help you live with menopause.
